Message about RAISE INSTITUTE from Verité and CREA CREA and Verité have worked together on the RAISE Institute project for the past three years to strengthen the social auditor profession. During this time, we are pleased to note that important changes in the field have created significant opportunities and space for new and more effective approaches to social auditing.   Central among these is the progress towards standardizing knowledge and skills for social auditors through the US State Department Monitoring Standards Project, which will conclude in December 2009. As a result, effective June 1, 2009, CREA and Verité have jointly agreed to bring to closure the RAISE Institute.   Each of our organizations will continue independently to provide training and education that build on the success we achieved through RAISE Institute programs.
